12. Awards & Prizes
Awards are divided into Overall Ranking, National Overall Ranking, and Age Group Ranking. All prize money is stated in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$).
(1) Overall Ranking Awards
Male and female participants will be ranked separately according to their overall race results. Prize money and trophies will be awarded as follows:

Important Notes:
1. If a participant places in both the Overall Ranking and the National Overall Ranking, only one cash prize may be claimed. The participant will retain both rankings and both trophies, and no ranking will be reassigned.
2. Winners of the Overall Ranking or National Overall Ranking are not eligible for Age Group Ranking awards.
(2) National Overall Ranking Awards
Taiwanese participants in the Marathon will be ranked separately by gender according to their National Overall Ranking results. Prize money and trophies will be awarded as follows:

Important Notes:

(3) Age Group Ranking Awards
For the Marathon and Half Marathon, the number of award recipients in each age group will be determined according to the number of registered participants in that age group:

Important Notes:
1. Participants who place in either the Overall Ranking or National Overall Ranking are not eligible for Age Group Ranking awards.
2. To encourage senior participation, the top 10 male participants aged 70 or above and the top 10 female participants aged 60 or above in both the Marathon and Half Marathon will each receive a trophy, regardless of the number of participants in the respective age group.
3. To promote inclusion in sports for persons with disabilities, individual results achieved by guide runners will also be included in the general race results.
(4) Creative Costume Contest – “Harbor City: Passion in Motion”
1. Participants registered in any race category may register for the Creative Costume Contest.
2. Registration: On-site registration is available for all categories on race day. Participants wishing to enter the costume contest must report to the designated area after finishing their race and within the judging period for their category. Participants must provide their bib number, name, national ID/passport number, address, and telephone number. Judging will take place immediately after registration.
3. Costume Theme: Combining Kaohsiung's identity as a vibrant “Music City” known for major concerts with the warmth and passion of Southern Taiwan, participants are encouraged to transform the marathon course into a lively moving stage. Costumes may incorporate music, passion, and other elements reflecting the unique character of Kaohsiung as a harbor city. As runners' footsteps blend with cheers from spectators along the course, the race becomes a dynamic celebration of Kaohsiung's urban character, openness, and warmth.
4. Judging Criteria: Local Character 40%, Creativity 30%, and Overall Presentation 30%. Entries will be evaluated by a professional judging panel.

(5) Award-Related Notes
1. For prize money exceeding NT$20,000, Taiwanese participants are subject to 10% income tax in accordance with applicable tax regulations. Foreign participants are subject to 20% income tax regardless of the prize amount.
2. Award recipients must provide a photocopy of their national ID when claiming an award. Foreign participants must provide a passport, Alien Resident Certificate, or other relevant identification for verification.
3. All prize money will be paid by bank transfer. Prize money will be transferred to the designated account after the doping test results have been announced. Award recipients must provide all required personal and banking information.
4. Awards may only be claimed by the award recipient in person. Representatives are not permitted to receive prize money or trophies on behalf of an award recipient. When claiming an award, the recipient must present the race bib or a valid form of identification. Award recipients who do not attend the award ceremony or collect their trophy before 12:00 on race day will be deemed to have forfeited the award. Trophies will not be mailed after the event, and no objection may be raised.
5. Doping Control: Participants are obligated to undergo doping control when required. Prize money will be transferred only after the doping test results have been announced. Participants who refuse testing or are confirmed to have violated anti-doping regulations will be subject to the applicable anti-doping rules. Their race results and awards will be revoked, and all prize money and prizes must be returned to the organizer. Any resulting vacant rankings and awards will be adjusted and reassigned only after the hearing process of the disqualified participant has been completed. (6) Finisher Certificates
1. Marathon and Half Marathon participants who finish within the official time limit will receive an electronic finisher certificate available for download.
2. Fun Run participants who finish within the official time limit will also receive an electronic finisher certificate available for download.
(7) Marathon and Half Marathon participants who finish within the official time limit will receive a bath towel and finisher medal. Fun Run finishers will receive a hand towel. Participants who do not finish within the official time limit are not eligible to receive these finisher items.
(8) Marathon and Half Marathon participants may present their bib number after the race to receive one meal.
(9) Corporate or group registrations under the same order number with 50 or more participants will be provided with one designated rest area. Availability is limited due to venue capacity and will be allocated according to registration order.
(10) The race course will be officially measured according to international standards. Water stations and refreshment supplies will be provided along the course.
(11) Water & Refreshment Stations (some stations may be shared by multiple course sections)
Starting after the 5 KM point, water and refreshment stations will generally be provided at intervals of approximately 2.5 KM. Exact station locations will be planned and announced after official course measurement has been completed.
